I miss my sweet baby,
Miss him so much!
The smell of his soft skin,
The feel of his touch.

Holding him tightly,
As I’d rock him to sleep.
Adoringly watching him
smile up at me.
He knew that I Loved him,
I could tell by his smile.
I knew that he loved me,
I felt it all the while.

Then sadly one day
He died suddenly.
No one knows why?
How can this be?
His life was so short,
When God took him from me.
I can’t have him back,
Why’d this happen to me?

He was so healthy,
So full of life.
Gone in an instant,
It cuts like a knife.
I’ll never forget the Love
That we shared.
But memories will fade,
A thought I can’t bear.
